Avinash Jhangiani is a senior digital transformation and innovations leader with nearly 20 years of technology strategy, product development and digital marketing experience in the US and India with Big 4 US Consulting, large MNC and global marketing communications companies. After providing more than a decade of consulting services for Fortune 500 companies in the US, Avinash has been driving Digital Transformation, Creative Problem Solving, Organizational Culture Building and 21st century Skill Development in India for large businesses, tech startups and education sectors. As CEO of Play2Transform, Avinash drives the Digital Transformation and Innovation practice that uses "Play" as a catalyst to break silos, build agility and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration. The play-based workshops leverage Design Thinking coupled with Systems Thinking process with toolkits such as LEGO Serious Play and DIY exponential technology kits to accelerate innovation and solve complex problems in areas of new age culture transformation, customer experience, service design and business process improvement. Prior to Play2Transform, Avinash served as Managing Director & Chief Innovation Officer for 5 years at Omnicom Media Group. His relentless focus on innovation for clients resulted in record-breaking number of awards including 4 Gold Lions at the prestigious CANNES festival in the last 3 years. Avinash is on IMPACT's Digital Power 100 list of most influential digital icons in India as well as in the Top 50 most innovative CIOs in India. Prior to Omnicom, Avinash led IT & Digital transformation at Reliance MediaWorks as Chief Information Officer during which he was selected as Finalist for the IDG's CIO 100 awards. Back in the US, he also won the first Innovation Quest that is awarded by the Global CEO of Deloitte Consulting for coming up with the Sustainability service offering. By education, Avinash holds an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, USA with an Engineering degree from Pune University. He recently completed his Executive Education on Innovation by Design from INSEAD. He is a keynote speaker, guest lecturer and writer, and runs innovation workshops at premier colleges in India in areas of digital transformation, design thinking and innovation.
