Puneesh Lamba is a senior IT Leader who has worked across the globe primarily in India, USA and Europe in diverse industries. He is an engineer with Advanced Strategy and Information Technology courses from Kellogg School of Management, IIM-Ahmedabad and Harvard Business School. He has more than 26 years of experience and has worked in varied technologies. One of the pioneers in India to embrace disruptive technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Robotic Process automation, IoT, Predictive Analytics etc., Puneesh is a proponent of digital means to enable business strategy for growth. He is widely regarded as thought leader and is a regular speaker at global events. Puneesh also keeps on sharing his experience with management students at IITs, IIMs and other top universities. An evangelist for start-up culture, he has helped developing start-up ecosystem in India by way of mentoring, providing exposure and creating business models. He has been awarded regularly by industry bodies, media etc. for his exemplary work and he also serves as jury to select awardees for awards like NASSCOM, 9.9, Frost & Sullivan and few others. He is currently the Group CIO for CK Birla Group based at Delhi and is responsible for strategy to execution for group companies in verticals like Manufacturing, IT, Healthcare, Cement, Automobile and Education. Earlier in his career, he has worked in companies like General Electric and TATA Consultancy Services.
