With over 14 years’ experience across various industries including Banking, FMCG, Manufacturing, Real Estate and Renewable Energy,Ipsita has worked in a diverse set of domains including marketing, political advisory and business development. She has held several multi-disciplinary roles and is skilled in research, synthesis, analysis & assessment of complex qualitative & quantitative data. She has diverse pursuits to her name which include working with the campaign strategy team of Shri Narendra Modi, the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, an entrepreneurial venture besides leading marketing & communication for RPG Group, Lodha Group and Loyalty Solutions & Research Ltd. (now Payback).
Ipsitacurrently heads Kalzoom Advisor, a joint venture between 5F World (a platform for Skills, Start-ups and Social Ventures in the country, founded by Dr. Ganesh Natarajan) and The Chesapeake Group (New York based financial advisory company, founded by Mr. Douglas Land). At Kalzoom Advisors, Ipsita is responsible for corporate development including stitching strategic partnerships and driving overall organization strategy.
She was one of the founding members of Citizens for Accountable Governance (CAG), a think tank that worked directly with the Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi for his campaign for the 2014 Indian General Elections. CAG was hailed as “a paradigm shift” in election campaigning in India by the media. At CAG, she was involved in conceptualizing, managing and executing key projects like Chai PeCharcha, Volunteer activation at a pan-India level, Public Fundraising and other such initiatives
As her entrepreneurial stint, Ipsita founded Simple Mind, a Communications consultancy specifically operating in the space of Public Policy where she did path breaking work to create public advocacy for Wind Energy in India.
She enjoys shooting sports and is anamateur pistol shooter. She is a bibliophile and collects rare books. She is passionate about travelling and has explored several countries across the globe.
